习近平总书记说：“语言相通是人与人相通的重要环节。语言不通就难以沟通，不沟通就难以达成理解，就难以形成认同。”适逢第24届文字推广周，国际学院、人文学院组织留学生开展汉字文化推广活动。

General Secretary Xi Jinping said: “Language communication is an important link in interpersonal communication. Without language, it is difficult to communicate. Without communication, it is difficult to reach understanding and form recognition." It coincides with the 24th Language Promotion Week, School of International Studies and School of Humanities，organized international students to carry out Chinese character culture promotion activities.

活动设置了趣味猜字、选词造句、图文匹配等多种题型，通过个人及团队抢答的形式进行积分竞赛，在场的留学生纷纷踊跃举手，积极参与。

The activity set up a variety of question types such as fun word guessing, word selection and sentence formation, and matching of pictures and texts. The points competition was conducted in the form of individual and team answers. International students present enthusiastically raised their hands and participated actively.

第一次看到从甲骨文到现代汉字的演变过程，参加活动的留学生们啧啧称奇。孟加拉国小伙Mehedi说：“每一个汉字都充满了故事，都是生动的历史，这真是太了不起了！”

It was the first time to see the evolution from oracle bone inscriptions to modern Chinese characters. Mehedi, a Bangladeshi boy, said: “Every Chinese character is full of stories and vivid history. This is really amazing!”

活动最后，老师为获胜的队伍颁发了证书及纪念品。

At the end of the event, the teacher presented certificates and souvenirs to the winning team.
