9月18日上午，由尚勇科长带队，我校留管科3名同志赴江西科技学院开展调研活动，实地考察了该校的留学生公寓，双方交流了留学生管理经验，此次调研为我校留管工作发展提供了助力。

On the morning of September 18th, led by Section Chief Shang Yong, three staffs of International Student Management Department of ECJTU went to Jiangxi University of Technology to carry out research activities, and visited their international student apartment. These two sides exchanged experience in management of international students. This survey has fostered the development of international student management in ECJTU.

宽敞整洁的宿舍、公共洗衣间、智能一卡通服务、直饮水系统、清晰可见的安全标识……吸引了大家的目光，宿舍楼整体设计人性化，为学生在校安心学习营造了良好的环境。

The spacious and clean dormitory, the public laundry room, the intelligent card system, the direct drinking water system, and the clearly visible security logo... have attracted everyone's attention. The overall design of the dormitory building is humanized, which creates a good environment for students to study at school.

“公寓共有6层楼，可容纳330名留学生居住。为方便管理，1-2层为女生宿舍，3-6层为男生宿舍，1楼设置24小时值班室，值班阿姨工作认真负责，几乎能认全所有的学生。另有6名辅导员住在公寓轮流值班，1名专职保洁员负责整栋公寓内公共卫生。”江科留管科科长刘佳明老师向我们认真介绍了留学生公寓的情况。

“The apartment has 6 floors and can accommodate 330 international students. For the convenience of management, 1-2 floors are female dormitory, 3-6 floors are male dormitory, and the first floor is equipped with a 24-hour duty room. The aunt on duty can recognize all the international students and works responsibly. Another 6 counselors live in the apartment and take turns on duty, and a full-time cleaning staff is responsible for the public hygienic environment of the entire apartment.” Jiang Jiaming, the head of International Student Management Section of Jiangxi University of Technology, introduced the international student apartment to us.

参观期间，不断有进出的留学生和我们用中、英文热情地打招呼，井然有序的留学生公寓令人印象深刻，其原因在于学校制定了严格的留学生管理制度。经了解，公寓内每周开展两次查寝工作，分别为集中查寝和随机查寝，查寝情况直接影响学生的在校表现和奖学金评定。

During the visit, there was a constant flow of international students in and out and they greeted us warmly in both Chinese and English. The well-ordered international student apartment is impressive, because the school has established a strict international student management system. The counselor conducts a bedroom check twice a week, one centralized check and one random check. The bed-sleeping situation directly affects students' performance and scholarship evaluation.

离开公寓后，刘佳明老师带领我们参观了国际教育学院，院长胥懋云热情地接待了我们，并就学院的基本情况、人员配备、办学特色及管理模式等方面进行了简要介绍。

After leaving the apartment, Liu Jiaming led us to visit the International Education College. Dean Xu Maoyun warmly received us and gave a brief introduction on the basic situation, staffing, characteristics and management mode of the college.

目前，江西科技学院在校留学生270余名，计划年底在校人数将达到330名，但随着留学生规模的扩大，同时给留学生管理工作带来了极大的压力和挑战。胥院长认为从严管理、奖惩并济是做好留管工作的重要方法。为吸引优秀的留学生来校就读，同时激励在校留学生努力学习，学校每年设置360万元左右留学生奖学金。同时，针对打架斗殴、私自留宿外校人员、恶意拖欠学费等不良行为的学生，学校一律开除，以儆效尤。在这样严格的管理模式之下，江西科技学院的留学生管理工作卓有成效。调研中，双方还就留学生招生管理、制度建设等工作交换了意见。

At present, Jiangxi University of Technology has more than 270 international students, and plans to reach 330 students at the end of the year. However, with the expansion of international students, it has brought great pressure and challenges to the management of international students. Dean Xu believes that strict management, rewards and punishment system are important methods for management of international students. In order to attract outstanding international students to study in Jiangxi University of Technology, and encourage students to work hard, the school sets a scholarship of 3.6 million yuan each year. At the same time, the school will expel the students who have bad behaviors such as fighting with others, allowing outsiders of the campus to sleep in the apartment, and being in arrears with tuition. Under such a strict management mode, the management of international students at Jiangxi University of Technology has achieved fruitful results. During the survey, the two sides also exchanged views on the recruitment and management and system construction of international students.

目前我校各项留管工作仍处在不断完善中，此次调研对我校留管工作的发展具有良好的借鉴意义。

At present, the various management work of international students in our university is still in the process of continuous improvement. This research has a good reference for the development of our university.
